Parental Controls
Overview
Simulated Concepts gives parents full control over their children's gaming experience. Through your parent account, you can manage every aspect of what your child sees, plays, and who they interact with on our platform.
Managing Child Accounts
As a parent, you can create and manage child accounts directly from your profile. Each child account is linked to your parent account, giving you oversight of their activity at all times.
- Create up to 5 child accounts per parent account
- Set age-appropriate display names for each child
- Activate or deactivate child accounts at any time
- View each child's account status and activity from your dashboard
To manage your children's accounts, visit your Profile and select My Children.
Game Access Controls
You decide which games your children can play. By default, child accounts have no game access until a parent explicitly grants it.
- Browse the full game catalog and select individual games for each child
- Assign games by category (Classic Games, Child Development, Strategy and Puzzles, Family and Party)
- Revoke access to specific games at any time
- Game access changes take effect immediately
Communication Controls
Child accounts operate under strict communication safeguards that you control.
- Enable or disable in-game chat for each child
- Review chat history for any child account
- Restrict direct messaging -- child accounts cannot receive messages from unknown users
- All chat interactions involving child accounts are monitored by our safety systems
Play Time Management
Set boundaries on when and how long your children can play.
- Define allowed play hours (for example, 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on weekdays)
- Set daily session limits (for example, 2 hours per day)
- Receive notifications when a child reaches their time limit
- Override time limits temporarily when needed
Activity Monitoring
Stay informed about your child's activity on the platform.
- View a log of games played, including dates and duration
- See who your child has interacted with during gameplay
- Review chat transcripts from monitored conversations
- Receive summary reports of weekly activity
Getting Started
To access parental controls:
- Log in to your parent account
- Click your name in the top navigation bar
- Select My Children from the dropdown menu
- From there, you can add child accounts and configure all controls described on this page
